Amanda Yen is an MSK and pelvic floor physiotherapist who received her Master’s In Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England. Amanda also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Amanda has experience with both gliding and static cupping and has received certifications for courses in instrument-assisted soft tissue massage, sports massage, kinesiology taping and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Amanda has a passion for sports with experience in treating multi-sport current and former athletes such as competitive hockey, tennis, baseball, basketball and soccer players of all ages. In her clinical work, Amanda has also treated a range of acute, chronic, accident related (i.e., car accident, workplace accident, etc.,) and overuse related injuries and conditions. Amanda approaches each case with a patient-centred approach, creating rehabilitation programs which includes soft tissue therapy, exercise rehabilitation and kinesiology taping based around patient assessment, goals and lifestyle.
