Direct billing will be made available as soon as possible.** Xian is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Rolfer whose work is deeply rooted in Rolfing Structural Integration. He currently serves as a Member-at-Large on the board of the Rolfing Association of Canada. Rolfing Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that focuses on the body’s fascia—the connective tissue that holds and connects everything in the body. The goal is to improve posture, movement, and overall balance. By working through areas of tension and long-term holding patterns, Rolfing can help the body feel lighter, more open, and more at ease in gravity. Inspired by Rolfing, Xian works in a slow and focused way to support lasting change in the body. His approach considers how the whole body functions together, rather than focusing on a single area of discomfort. Sessions may include gentle movement, breath awareness, and simple explorations of how you sit, stand, and move. Clients are encouraged to take an active role in the process, making the work more connected and effective.
We have reserved up to 60 minutes for an initial appointment including an intake, assessment and hands-on treatment focused on improving posture, movement, mobility and overall body function through myofascial release and structural integration techniques. Treatments are individualized to your needs and may address tension patterns, movement restrictions, postural imbalances and overall body awareness using a slower, more intentional, movement-focused approach. Treatments are typically performed without oils or lotions and patients remain comfortably clothed in athletic or fitted clothing to allow for movement, assessment and treatment.
