Hi, I’m Alisha! I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge, and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and now call Vancouver my home – who can resist both the ocean and the mountains at your doorstep! I have always had a passion for helping others, and am so happy to have found a career as meaningful and enriching as this one! Pelvic health has been an area of interest for me even before I started my Masters, that I have come to appreciate more as my education progressed. It is an area that is underrepresented, but so integral to quality of life in all aspects. I aim to provide care that feels safe and comfortable so that you leave sessions feeling empowered in what you can achieve. I strive to help clients discover movements that are meaningful to them in their lives, whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out into the fitness world! I believe that education is a lifelong process, and believe in continued learning both practically and formally. So far, I have completed my Pelvic Health Level 1, and have obtained my Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Level 1 certification. Outside of the clinic, I spend my time running, practicing yoga, or my newest hobby: playing tennis. I love reading and trying new recipes – please send any recommendations my way!
