My path into physiotherapy was shaped by a lifelong involvement in sport and a personal knee injury that introduced me to the rehabilitation process firsthand. Experiencing how thoughtful, evidence-based care could restore movement and confidence sparked a lasting interest in helping others navigate their own recovery. What continues to drive my work is the opportunity to support people through complex and often uncertain presentations. I have a particular interest in persistent pain and orthopaedic conditions, and I’m drawn to the clinical reasoning required when there isn’t a single clear answer. I value taking the time to understand each person’s experience, and I aim to create a collaborative environment where patients feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care. My approach integrates current evidence with a strong emphasis on communication and therapeutic alliance. I’m especially interested in how we can better understand pain, reduce unnecessary fear, and support people in returning to meaningful activity in a way that feels both realistic and sustainable. I continue to pursue ongoing learning in areas such as pain science and emerging treatment approaches, and I enjoy contributing to the profession through teaching and mentorship. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy cycling, backcountry hiking, and spending time outdoors - activities that continue to shape my appreciation for movement and long-term health.
You'll want to book one of these if it's your first time seeing a Physiotherapist at our clinic, or if this is a new issue that you're dealing with. If this injury is part of an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim, please go back and book an ICBC or WSBC assessment.
