Jasmine is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner (DOMP) with a deep fascination for the human body and a genuine passion for helping people improve their overall health and well-being. She graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy and holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Studies from York University. Her academic background, combined with hands-on clinical training, allows her to take a well-rounded and evidence-informed approach to care. In addition to her osteopathic training, Jasmine is certified in both restorative matwork Pilates and reformer Pilates. She integrates movement-based principles into her treatments to help clients build strength, improve mobility, and support long-term function. Jasmine was drawn to manual osteopathy for its holistic philosophy—recognizing the interconnectedness of the body’s systems and focusing on optimizing circulation, nerve function, and lymphatic flow. Her treatments are gentle, individualized, and aimed at addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than just symptoms.

Manual Osteopathic Pelvic Floor Assessment

This initial session is a comprehensive evaluation focused on the structure and function of the pelvic floor and its relationship to the whole body. The appointment begins with a detailed health history, including discussion of symptoms such as pelvic pain, incontinence, core weakness, postural concerns, or pregnancy/postpartum changes. We also review lifestyle factors, movement habits, and any relevant medical history. The physical assessment includes: Postural and biomechanical analysis Assessment of the spine, pelvis, hips, and diaphragm Evaluation of breathing patterns and core coordination External palpation of pelvic structures to assess tension, alignment, and mobility Internal pelvic exams are not performed. This is a fully clothed, external assessment within the scope of manual osteopathy. The goal of this session is to identify underlying restrictions, compensations, and imbalances that may be contributing to dysfunction. Findings are explained clearly, and a personalized treatment plan is developed to support optimal pelvic health and whole-body function.
