Andrew has lived all over Canada from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, BC to settling in Aylmer, Quebec for a time. From a young age he was interested in sports and athletics playing Football, Rugby and obtaining his 2nd degree black belt in Karate. With a passion for health and sciences he moved to Montreal pursuing an undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Exercise Science, specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology. During this time he worked as a Karate instructor and interned at McGill’s CHIP (Cardiovascular Health Improvement Program) working individuals with cardiovascular disease as well as at a Parkinson’s and Stroke rehabilitation clinic. Andrew continued his journey, now with a deeper understanding of how exercise can lead to healthy movement and help us achieve our lifestyle goals, by obtaining a Maser’s of Physiotherapy at Scotland’s Robert Gordon University. Here he continued to play Rugby for a city club and completed his clinical physiotherapy internship’s totalling over 1050 hours! Here he would work in different hospital based settings or drive across the Scottish landscape to provide people in the community the care they need. Throughout this process he saw firsthand the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and how isolation can effect both our body and minds. Now returning to Canada Andrew’s goal is to help people stay connected to their community and excel in their favourite activities by improving their movement and physical fitness. Outside the clinic, Andrew likes to play guitar is expanding his knowledge of martial arts by practice Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

If this is the first time seeing our physiotherapist for this specific injury, we must conduct a full thorough assessment. This will allow time for the Physiotherapist to assess and explain your diagnosis and plan, as well as provide a treatment. All of our assessments and treatments are carried out in private rooms to ensure your comfort.
