Ani has an extensive background in treating patients of all ages, she specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological injuries, as well as sports related injuries. She graduated from University of Perpetual Help (Philippines) and worked in a tertiary hospital specializing in neurological cases. Currently, she is registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario and has been practicing as an independent practitioner since 2012, specializing in orthopedic cases. She continue to enhance her knowledge and skills by doing continuing education as well as nurture evidence based practice in her routine client care. She provides treatment for variety of conditions such as neuromusculoskeletal, orthopedic and neurological conditions, sports injuries, pre and post-operative care, geriatric and pediatric conditions, pre and post natal care and injuries sustained from motor vehicular accidents. Ani incorporates various treatment approach including but not limited to Acupuncture and Dry Needling (rostered), Manual Therapy (Mckenzie and Mulligan approach), NDT’s, Electrotherapy, Concussion and Vestibular rehabilitation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, individualized therapeutic exercise programs, patient education on injury prevention.
