Suite 206- 2186 Oak Bay Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8R 1G3

In 2005, I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and became a Registered Massage Therapist. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including spas, multidisciplinary clinics, mobile/in-home treatments, and a home-based practice. I’m currently practicing at Heart of the Village Massage Therapy in Oak Bay. In 2023, I completed a three-year Somatic Experiencing program and received my Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) certificate. Continued my studies with Kathy Kain in Portland for Touch Skills Training for Trauma Therapists in 2025. Currently a part of an assisting team for an SE training cohort in Vancouver taught by Dea Parsanishi. As a trauma-informed therapist , I believe that with safety and support, our bodies and nervous systems have an innate ability and wisdom to heal. I gently invite curiosity toward the sensations and signals within your body — exploring how they can guide and inform your healing journey. With the safety of your nervous system as my highest priority, I do not offer traditional or conventional “deep tissue” massage. When appropriate, however, we can work together with deep-lying structures in ways that can have a profound effect on your system’s regulation and wellbeing. My approach integrates a variety of techniques, including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation , and may include invitations for supportive home care. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me cycling with my family around Victoria, experimenting in the kitchen, playing soccer, or escaping into a good book. I acknowledge and respect the ləkʷəŋən peoples on whose traditional territory I live, work, and grow, and the Songhees, Esquimalt, and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. Areas of Focus PTSD and C-PTSD Burnout Anxiety and panic attacks Depression Grief and loss Sleep difficulties (Insomnia) ADHD Headaches and migraines Chronic neck, shoulder, and back tension Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, long COVID Digestive issues Pregnancy and postpartum care Children (ages 8 and up)
