Kelsey’s career as a chiropractor started in 2020, but she knew she wanted to pursue this profession at age 14, while growing up in Mitchell, South Dakota. She turned to chiropractic care after injuring her knee during soccer practice. The treatment she received allowed her to remain active without medication until she was in a better situation to pursue surgery. It was a great lesson that taking control of your health isn’t always a one-time fix-all, it’s about persistent management and ongoing care. Now Kelsey has the opportunity to help others live full lives with the least amount of pain and reclaim the independence and autonomy that mobility provides. She received formal training at Northwestern Health Sciences University, and also spent two years with an AmeriCorps program, learning firsthand about the importance of nutrition and physical activity resources in the community of Marshall, Minnesota. In Kelsey’s chiropractic practice, she also puts great emphasis on working with patients in a partnership because, oftentimes, healthcare can feel impersonal. She provides high-quality care and clear communications and expectations. Outside of clinical practice, Kelsey has a partner, Nick, and a cat, Lucy. She enjoys drawing, calligraphy, embroidery, video games, gardening, candle making, and biking.
