Michael Mekhail is passionate about helping people better understand their bodies and move with less pain. His approach is client-centred and adaptable, drawing from a wide range of techniques to meet each person where they are. Michael treats a broad range of conditions, including: - Headaches and migraines - Chest congestion - Stress and nervous-system tension - Muscle tension and tightness - Rotator cuff injuries - Neck and shoulder pain - Lower back pain - Knee pain - Scar tissue restrictions - Puffiness, swelling, and edema He incorporates modalities such as cupping, acupuncture, fascial work, manual lymphatic drainage and gentle nervous-system–focused treatments, always working with the body rather than against it. Michael has extensive experience treating pre- and postnatal clients, individuals across the activity spectrum, and hypermobile populations. Outside the clinic, Michael is a father of two, a martial artist, weightlifter, and student of movement. He completed medical acupuncture training through McMaster University and is currently studying Osteopathy, integrating these perspectives to help clients move better and feel more at ease in their bodies.
Massage
Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain and tension. Highly beneficial in increasing circulation, improving joint range of motion and restoring function while promoting relaxation. Please note all RMT fees include HST, and our practitioners do not accept tips.
Acupuncture
Enjoy the benefits of both Massage Therapy and Acupuncture combined! Along with being a trained RMT, Michael Mekhail is also certified in medical acupuncture from McMaster University. Please note this appointment is billed as a Massage Therapy appointment. All RMT fees include HST, and our practitioners do not accept tips.
