Dr. Carissa Bush, ND believes that your health should be something that allows you to enjoy your life and is committed to helping patients take control of their health. Dr. Carissa is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and registered member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario who has met the Standard of Practice for Prescribing. She is a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). After completing her degree in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Science at the University of Guelph, she attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to further her study of human health, the complexity of disease progression, and the connections that diet, lifestyle, and the environment play in disease and wellness. Dr. Carissa treats a variety of health concerns and believes in finding and treating the root cause. She believes strongly in patient education and individualistic care utilizing nutrition, lifestyle, botanicals, acupuncture, and supplements. Dr. Carissa has a strong focus in women’s health and fertility, digestive health, nutrition and weight loss, chronic illness, and thyroid disease. Outside of private practice, you’ll never catch her without a book. She loves hiking and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
This is a visit for new patients and will involve a detailed discussion of your medical history, symptoms, and health goals. Your doctor may also conduct a physical exam and recommend lab testing. This collaborative approach aims to develop a personalized treatment plan to address your unique needs.
