Jackie Moon is a Registered Acupuncturist who graduated from the Acupuncture Program at Vancouver Career College. Her personal recovery following two motor vehicle accidents inspired her transition from education to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Jackie supports patients experiencing motor vehicle accident-related injuries, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, stress, anxiety, insomnia, women’s health concerns, and fertility-related challenges. Depending on each patient’s needs, her treatments may incorporate acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping, gua sha, auricular therapy, and acupressure. She is currently furthering her clinical knowledge through the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Program at Tzu Chi International College of TCM. Before entering healthcare, Jackie worked as an educator in Korea for more than 10 years. She holds a Master of Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Literature from Chung-Ang University. Fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese, Jackie is committed to providing individualized and culturally sensitive care. Her martial arts experience has also contributed to her appreciation of body mechanics, functional movement, discipline, and injury prevention. Outside the clinic, she enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, exploring Canada with her family, and spending time with her dog, Huhu.
