My name is Joey Ruterbories. I’m a Lincoln native and I graduated from Myotherapy Institute College of Massage Therapy in 2012. I’ve worked as an independent therapist throughout my career, teaming up with multiple therapist groups, salon and spas, and corporate wellness programs over my 14 years of practice. I was also a professor and student clinic supervisor for 4 years at Myotherapy Institute CMT, where I taught Chair Massage and Deep Tissue courses.
Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
