David grew up working on a cattle ranch in Western Nevada, fostering a love for animals, hard work, and the outdoors. His early years were shaped by the rugged landscapes and daily responsibilities of ranch life, which instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, respect for nature, and an appreciation for the interconnectedness of all living things. After spending time in Utah, where he explored new opportunities and developed close community ties, he moved to Central Oregon in 2008 with his family, seeking fresh experiences and a welcoming environment for his children. David, a father of four, completed the COCC Massage Therapy program in 2015 and has spent nine years at resort spas, combining Western modalities with Eastern theory. Throughout his career, David has continuously pursued additional training in various bodywork techniques and holistic practices, deepening his understanding of both the physical and energetic aspects of massage. He specializes in slow, deep, intentional massage, tailoring each session to meet the specific needs and goals of his clients, whether they're seeking relaxation, pain relief, or improved mobility. David strongly believes that therapeutic touch can foster healing not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. In his free time, David enjoys disc golf, gardening, and fishing. He often spends weekends with his family exploring local parks, cultivating their home garden, and sharing the joy of outdoor activities with his children. These hobbies allow him to stay connected to the natural world and provide balance to his professional life. David is also active in community events, sometimes volunteering his massage skills at charity fundraisers or wellness fairs, always eager to give back and support others on their paths to well-being.
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
