Veterans Affairs credentialed Katie is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, which includes both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is also licensed in custom-made Chinese herbal formulation. Katie holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Recently, she completed a 7-month Western Herbal Apprenticeship and is undergoing a 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with double minors in Biology and Integrative & Holistic Health from the University of Southern Maine. She was also trained as a Kundalini practitioner, Usui Reiki Master, and Qi Gong facilitator. Katie has a particular interest in chronic health conditions, digestive conditions, anxiety and mental-emotional health, reproductive and women’s health, chronic and acute pain, as well as Lyme disease and co-infections.
