I have been working full time as a Massage Therapist for 16 years. I finished with honors at the Lethbridge College in the Massage program. I've taken courses in Bowen therapy, Indian Head Massage, Thai Foot, Thai Body Massage and numerous energy healing modalities along with other massage related therapies that I incorporate into my treatments. I am certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestion Therapy. I love what I do.
Massage
Massage is always tailored to individual preference. You can request a light relaxing treatment, or deep tissue therapy. Massage helps to increase circulation, relieve tension in muscles and decrease stress.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle technique designed to reduce swelling by encouraging lymph flow, not by massaging the muscles. The lymphatic system cleanses, detoxifies, boosts immunity, and removes excess fluid from the body. MLD is especially effective for relieving congestion when lymph nodes are swollen in the neck, armpits, or joints. It can ease pressure and pain from lymphedema, lipedema, and also supports recovery from surgery, scars, bruising, sprains, and strains.
