Acorn Acupuncture
Amy Woodstock (she/her/hers) comes to us from NYC Points Acupuncture where she treated hundreds of patients on the Upper West Side and Midtown East in Manhattan. Specializing in pain and chronic pain, women’s health and fertility, psycho-emotional health and digestive issues for the last 6 years she’s finally agreed to join Avon Acupuncture and embrace a quieter life with friends and family. Amy did her training at Pacific College of Health and Science and holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture. Her training includes Classical Chinese Acupuncture, Esoteric Acupuncture, and Reiki, allowing her to provide deeply individualized care. She pursued; advanced training in trauma-focused care with Acupuncturists Without Borders; Abdominal Acupuncture with Dave Shipsey; fertility; and women’s health. She has held internships at; Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Continuum Cancer Center, The Institute of Family Health, and Columbia University Student Health Center. Amy’s passion for exploration and adventure has taken her across the globe. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, she served in Eastern Ukraine as a Community Development Volunteer. She has lived and worked in France and Peru and speaks French, Spanish and Russian. In her free time, Amy enjoys hiking, yoga, long walks, and exploring new places, and is always planning her next adventure.
