NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS Nick graduated from the University of Alberta Physiotherapy Masters Program in 2015. It was his upbringing in sports and his many trips to his own physiotherapist that nudged him into the profession. After graduation, Nick was the fortunate recipient of the Glen Sather Sport Medicine Clinic Physiotherapy Fellowship program. He worked within interdisciplinary teams consisting of orthopedic surgeons, sport medicine physicians and physiotherapists. He appreciates and upholds the incredible potential of working with an interdisciplinary team of skilled healthcare providers. Nick’s treatment philosophy is based on patient education and empowerment. He wants to teach you how you can make yourself better, stronger and healthier! He mixes education, exercise therapy, manual therapy and dry needling in his treatment approach. Nick has a keen interest in treating lower body injuries, from acute to chronic conditions. He has a special interest in knee injuries. When not working Nick is out riding the trails in the river valley, skiing the mountains in the winter or refinishing furniture in his basement workshop.
This session involves the assessment and treatment of more than one body region, multiple conditions or injuries or involves an extended portion of exercise prescription.
