Heather Sosa
Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
Heather Sosa, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with a rich background in both emergency medicine and family practice. She attended Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and graduated in 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico, which included all of her EMS training and a range of holistic medical subjects, such as holistic health coaching, homeopathy, and psychoneuroimmunology. Her years as a New Mexico paramedic and medical assistant shaped her steady, patient-centered approach to care. Heather blends the insight of Western medicine with the restorative principles of TCM to support pain, stress, fatigue, digestive imbalance, and overall vitality. She believes every patient should be treated as a whole, individual person (Mind, Body, and Spirit), and that this can be achieved through TCM. She also offers microneedling and facial acupuncture for patients seeking a natural, thoughtful approach to skin health, addressing concerns related to aging, scarring, and tone. Heather is known for her calm presence, clear communication, and genuine commitment to helping patients feel more balanced, resilient, and at home in their bodies.
