Coming from a family populated with Olympians, world record holders, and national level athletes, Jim has been immersed in the world of athletics and extreme sports nearly from birth. After honing his diagnostic skills during many years as a Field Engineer for BMW North America he returned to school to become an Osteopath and turn his skills from working on high powered machinery to helping people leverage their body’s innate ability to heal itself and maximize their performance. Jim has a diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory & Practice from the Osteopathic College of Ontario. Jim is also a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College, with honours and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jim is also a Certified Bioflex Laser Clinician. When approaching treatment Jim takes a client-centered approach. You can expect him to involve you in the diagnosis of your pain, the techniques used in each session, as well as the exercises prescribed. Techniques offered by Jim are both direct and indirect - he addresses the pain, as well as the structures and systems causing the pain.
