Currently on Mat Leave Jackie found a love for manual therapy while completing her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She began her manual therapy career in September 2020 when starting the 5-year Osteopathy program at the Canadian School of Osteopathy. Within her first year, she was looking for even more hands-on experience as she continued the osteopathy program, which led her to massage therapy school as well. Jackie completed the 2200-hour program at Vicars School of Massage Therapy and is practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist. She loves that massage has the remarkable ability to help clients escape from the stresses of their daily life, reduce pain, improve quality of life, and leave a treatment with a sense of overall wellness. She combines relaxation with a variety of therapeutic techniques including: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, remedial exercises and more. She has had success treating various conditions including: plantar fasciitis, postural dysfunctions, frozen shoulder, whiplash, and headaches/migraines.
