Stephanie is an osteopathic manual practitioner with a background in kinesiology. Her interest and passion for learning about the human body is what led her to further her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton. Stephanie uses principles-based treatment plans to guide the body through manual manipulation in order to correct structural imbalances, improving motion and encouraging nervous, circulatory and lymphatic flow. Every treatment is specialized to each individual person, emphasizing the idea that there is an interrelationship between the structure and function of the body. Once balance is restored, the body can better act on its inherent ability to self-heal and self-regulate. Throughout her life, Stephanie has been very involved in recreational sports, including dance, volleyball, and hockey. Stephanie’s love for anatomy and learning about the human body keeps her interested in continued learning and passionate about osteopathy. Stephanie enjoys hiking, mountain biking and spending time with her family, friends and dog.
