Previous to her Registered Massage Therapy training, Linda also completed her Diploma in Sport Science from Douglas College. Since then she has completed continuing education courses in strength and conditioning, injury rehab and courses through the Fit (Functional Integrated Therapy) Institute For MMR – Myo- Matrix 3D Release Technique as well as Fascial Abrasion technique tools. Linda takes a versatile approach to overall health and rehabilitation – this includes a balanced and personalized plan of assessment, treatment and self-care. Linda was drawn to rehabilitation therapies as a result of her keen interest in the human body systems and her own experiences through athletics and injuries. Involving patients in their recovery process and treatment plan is an essential part of Linda’s Massage Therapy treatment approach. Through school Linda was actively involved in a variety of outreach placements including with the University of British Columbia athletics, G.F. Strong, George Pearson Centre and WCCMT’s Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s in-reach program. She also continues to volunteer her time at events such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer, the Granfondo and worked the Provincial Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships in Langley, BC. Linda also takes ICBC Patients at our Burnaby Clinic.
