Elsie holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Her approach is grounded in the belief that effective physiotherapy is individualized, collaborative, and focused on the person behind the injury. She combines patient education, exercise-based rehabilitation, and evidence-informed care to help individuals build confidence and return to the activities that matter most to them. During her clinical placements, Elsie gained experience working with athletes, post-operative patients, older adults, individuals with workplace injuries, and acute care populations. She has a particular interest in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation. As a former competitive dancer and ski instructor, Elsie understands the physical demands of an active lifestyle. Her experience as a student athletic trainer with hockey, football, and lacrosse teams, along with her own experiences with injury and rehabilitation, has shaped her commitment to empowering patients with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their recovery. Outside the clinic, Elsie enjoys dance, strength training, hiking, skiing, and exploring all that Vancouver has to offer.
