Massage Therapy
A deep tissue massage uses firmer pressure than Swedish to target deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This approach aims to relieve muscle tension, knots, and chronic aches, promoting relaxation and improved mobility. It's ideal for addressing specific muscle issues and promoting overall muscle health. You can always adjust the pressure with your therapist.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage Massage, also referred to as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a technique effective in managing lymphedema. However, it's not limited to lymphedema patients. MLD supports optimal fluid balance, enhances blood circulation, and boosts the immune system. It is good for reducing swelling, water retention and bloating. At our clinic, our therapists incorporate gua sha stones to enhance the benefits of the massage.
