Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Initial Assessment
Pelvic

A pelvic floor physiotherapy assessment begins with a comprehensive review of your health history and a discussion of your goals and concerns. This is followed by a thorough physical examination of the lumbo-pelvic region, which may include an internal pelvic exam with your informed consent. Using this information, your physiotherapist will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals, and review it with you in detail. When appropriate, treatment may also begin during the same visit. This assessment is ideal for individuals experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, or prolapse, as well as those seeking care during pregnancy or postpartum recovery.
