Mike Di Nino is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in London, Ontario, and a long-standing member of the Goodwill Healing clinical team. By integrating classical osteopathic principles with an advanced background in nutrition and high-impact athletic mechanics, he targets the root structural causes of chronic pain and functional restrictions. As a Western Varsity Rugby alumnus, his practice centers on restoring precise mechanical alignment to optimize systemic fluid transit, vascular flow, and overall musculoskeletal recovery. He bridges his extensive knowledge of physical mechanics, sports nutrition, and functional anatomy to support long-term recovery outcomes for his patients. PRIMARY AREAS OF CLINICAL FOCUS: Advanced Cranial & Facial Osteopathic Approach: Specialized manual techniques addressing structural tension, neck pain, whiplash, neck trauma, and mechanical strain related to TMJ dysfunction, jaw tension, chronic headaches, migraines, sinus pressure, and sinus pain. Pre- & Post-Operative Joint Replacement & Injury Rehab: Targeted care paths for total hip, knee, and ankle replacements, as well as post-surgical ligament or tendon repairs, designed to ease back pain, improve joint tracking, reduce muscular guarding, and restore functional movement confidence. Athletic Maintenance & High-Impact Performance: Drawing on his competitive university rugby background to manage acute impact trauma, shoulder injuries, ease sciatica flare-ups, optimize fluid flow, and stabilize joint mechanics for local athletes. Children & Youth Sports Maintenance: Structurally protective manual care tailored for growing bodies to address early physical strain, support postural symmetry, and manage field or playground sports injuries. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE & BACKGROUND: Prior to his osteopathic training, Mike graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Western University in 2016. While completing his degree, he was an active member of the Western varsity men’s rugby team. This intensive athletic experience shaped his practical understanding of high-impact biomechanics, complex recovery timelines, and the critical value of proactive physical maintenance. Mike completed his comprehensive clinical training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, focusing on the mechanical laws of the body to guide patients away from physical restrictions toward long-term comfort. INSURANCE & CREDENTIALS: Mike holds a Master in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (MOMSc) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. As a certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner in London, Ontario, he is a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) and is federally certified by Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN). All osteopathic treatments at Goodwill Healing in London meet the World Health Organization Type-1 standard, ensuring full coverage with all major Canadian private health insurance providers and extended health benefit plans.
