Danielle completed a Bachelor of Physical Education degree in 2008 and her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2011. Since then, she has continued further training in the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, is certified in functional dry needling, and is certified to order diagnostic imaging. Danielle has experience treating a variety of sports injuries with a keen interest in complex shoulder injuries. She worked alongside orthopedic surgeons and sport medicine physicians in establishing the Shoulder Triage Team at the Edmonton Bone and Joint Clinic. Danielle played hockey as a goaltender for the University of Alberta Pandas during her degree and grew up playing competitive fastball. She now enjoys playing hockey, volleyball, and modified slo-pitch. She also enjoys hiking, cycling and yoga.
This session is for patients new to the clinic, for patients with new injuries/conditions, or for a previously assessed or treated condition that has not been treated within the last 6 months. Please bring a pair of shorts for lower extremity or back conditions, tank tops for upper body or neck conditions. This session excludes work-related or motor vehicle accident injuries. Please call the clinic if you have had a recent surgery or fracture.
