Laurel Seaholm is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and registered nurse with over 16 years of clinical experience. She is also a certified yoga teacher and has completed her Level IV training in Healing Touch. Laurel became a believer in acupuncture at 16 years old, after seeing her older brother go into remission from a cancer diagnosis, and has been an advocate for the medicine ever since! She is a strong proponent for individualized and integrative medicine and feels truly honored to accompany patients throughout their healing journeys. In her free time Laurel loves to travel, explore and connect with nature in a variety of ways. She is the happy dog mama of sweet Maple! Specialties: Mental emotional health, pain, cosmetic and microneedling and internal medicine.
This session combines acupuncture with an ancient warming treatment called moxibustion. The practice of "warming the mother" after birth is common all over the world and aids in healing and recovery after birth. It is a relaxing and restorative treatment! We recommend at least 2 Post Partum Recovery Sessions in the month following delivery.
