Dr. Wendy Smith earned her B.Sc.(Hon Co-op Kin) from the University of Waterloo before graduating from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1995. Her interest in acupuncture began at university when she authored her thesis on acupuncture. As a new Chiropractic graduate, she studied medical acupuncture, then added auricular medicine and finally returned to school in 2011 to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture at the Ontario College of TCM. - - - Dr. Wendy has a passion for learning and continually upgrades and expands her knowledge. She has training in Chiropractic pediatric and pregnancy care - ICPA (is Webster certified), Functional Neurology, Functional Medicine, Bio-individual Nutrition, Neuro-sensory Integration (Edu-K, Bal-A-Vis-X, MNRI), Matrix Re-patterning, Upledger Cranial-sacral therapy, Barral Neural and Visceral fascial therapy, Anatomy Trains, Fertility, Menopause and much, much more. - - - Prior to moving to Cornwall in autumn 2024, Dr. Wendy practised in North Bay, Sturgeon Falls, and more recently in Milton, and Oakville, Ontario. With over 30 years of health experience and training, she provides a unique perspective for her patients regarding their health concerns. Dr. Wendy welcomes new patients of all ages.
