Dr. Katie combines over 20 years of medical experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine to support fertility, hormonal balance, reproductive health, and complex internal medicine concerns. Dr. Katie began her career in Western medicine as a Registered Nurse, working in pediatrics, trauma, intensive care, and geriatrics. After years in the hospital setting, she was drawn to Chinese medicine after witnessing both the strengths and limitations of conventional healthcare and developing a desire to help bridge Eastern and Western approaches to healing. Today, Dr. Katie integrates her extensive biomedical background with acupuncture and Chinese medicine to provide thoughtful, individualized care. She is a licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Katie treats patients of all ages and works with a wide range of conditions. She has a particular passion for supporting fertility, gynecologic and hormonal health, caring for children and adolescents, and helping patients navigate complex internal medicine concerns such as autoimmune conditions, endocrine imbalances, thyroid and blood pressure issues, neurological conditions, and stress or trauma-related challenges. Her clinical philosophy focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of illness, tailoring treatments to the unique needs of each patient. She prioritizes creating a safe, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their healing process. Common reasons patients book with Dr. Katie include: • Fertility and reproductive health support • Hormonal and endocrine concerns • Autoimmune and chronic illness • Pediatric and family medicine care • Stress, trauma, and nervous system support
