Fluent in Tagalog comprehension Born in the Philippines and raised in Burnaby, Dr. Jamie has a diverse background in health and wellness. She began her journey by studying Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University while working in sport rehabilitation clinics and care homes, where she created and administered exercise programs tailored to various patient needs. She later moved to Portland, Oregon, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States. Since beginning her practice in 2018, Jamie has integrated her previous experience as a personal trainer and yoga instructor into her chiropractic care, combining manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation to create highly personalized treatment plans. Jamie has been active in the health and fitness industry since 2012 and is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love through evidence-informed, holistic care. In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, yoga, playing ultimate frisbee, and hiking with her husband and their dog. Jamie is fluent in understanding Tagalog and enjoys staying connected to her cultural roots.
