Kevin’s (he/they) practice is fundamentally about radical acceptance + returning to your innate healing nature. Their treatments support your freedom of being so that you can get real about where you’re at and feel supported to bring health into your life, your own way. In the treatment room, they often use acupuncture alongside somatic therapy, palpation and gentle Tui Na massage to bring awareness + healing to the subtle roots of symptoms. Other tools include cupping + moxibustion as well as movement, meditation and/or breathwork to integrate treatments. In practice, they are particularly familiar with physical pain and injury, mental-emotional health, hormonal health, queer health, and BIPOC health. They spent years as a ballet dancer, healing the many injuries that came with it. A second career as a yoga + qigong teacher in Asia highlighted the interdependence of mind-body-spirit-culture in healing. They believe that bringing forth your most authentic self amidst oppressive systems is a way of healing both yourself and the world. They do this while centring joy, beauty and compassion… preferably nourished by meaningful company, fresh local foods and a slow sunset.
