Joseph is a Registered Massage Therapist based in British Columbia, dedicated to providing result-driven treatment with a strong focus on understanding the root cause of dysfunction and discomfort. His approach to massage therapy is shaped by more than 6 years of personal experience receiving massage therapy and other forms of treatment following a motor vehicle accident in 2018, as well as his long-standing interest in different massage techniques and approaches to care. Experiencing rehabilitation from the patient’s perspective gave him a deeper understanding of the recovery process and the importance of individualized treatment. During his two-year RMT education, Joseph also gained hands-on experience working as a non-registered massage therapist, allowing him to develop practical treatment skills and experience working with a wide range of clients before becoming an RMT. After completing his education and successfully passing the BC board examinations, he has continued to build his clinical approach through evidence-informed techniques, with a particular focus on myofascial release, PNF stretching, joint mobilization, and trigger point release. Outside the clinic, Joseph enjoys badminton, snowboarding, and motorcycle riding. Staying active through these activities continues to deepen his understanding of movement, performance, and the physical demands placed on the body.
