She has also travelled extensively in Asia to learn their treatment modalities and in Peru to work with plants. In her treatments, she always includes techniques from Thai massage, Lomi Lomi or Amma. Valerie likes to work focusing on a general approach, a treatment routine that promotes a holistic, all-encompassing vision of the body.

60min Osteopathy Treatment

The history of osteopathy goes back about 150 years and could be simply seen as a manual approach that treats the body as a whole. Osteopaths believe that all body systems interrelate and depend upon one another for good health. Osteopaths treat the entire body, including muscles, joints, viscera and cranial sphere. In osteopathy, the therapist will utilize a holistic approach that not only focuses on the area of pain but includes an examination of the entire body to discover possible causes for the problem. In her treatments, Valerie always includes techniques from Thai massage, Lomi Lomi or Amma.
