Nicole is a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Certified Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and IMS practitioner. Nicole has been practicing physiotherapy since 2001 after graduating from the University of Melbourne. In this time she has undergone further postgraduate studies including a Masters in Manual (Manipulative) Physiotherapy from the University of Western Australia in 2006, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Men’s and Women’s Pelvic Health from the University of Melbourne in 2010. In the first half of her career, Nicole resided in Whistler, Canada. During this time, Nicole developed a special interest in hip, pelvis and spinal injuries, and clinical Pilates. Nicole returned to Melbourne in 2010, extending her areas of interest into Men’s and Women’s Pelvic Health. This has led Nicole to work in the specialised areas of antenatal physiotherapy, and pelvic, bladder, bowel, gynaecological and sexual dysfunction. Nicole’s extensive experience gives her the ability to ensure quality care and use of the latest available research and techniques in both Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. As well as clinical work, Nicole has worked in research at the Centre of Research Excellence in Patient Safety, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, Australia. Nicole is kept busy by her young family and is a keen participant in yoga, sports and outdoor pursuits.
