Registered Acupuncturist and TCM Practitioner – Mike Xu Mike received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in herbal medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. He is currently a registered acupuncturist and TCM practitioner with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). He is also teaching Chinese medicine and biomedicine courses at two private colleges, at the same time supervising students in their clinical training. Mike is a considerate, diligent and focused individual who spends a lot of time on analyzing patient conditions and finding the best treatment solutions for patients. He also has a strong background in anatomy and physiology thanks to his teaching experience, which allowed him to locate acupoints precisely and avoid potential risks. His in-depth research on herbal medicine enabled him to formulate herbal prescriptions with big pictures in mind. Mike has gained extensive experience in treating internal medicine, gynaecological, pediatric, dermatological and orthopedic diseases. He is especially skilled in pain management, increasing joint mobility, cancer care, pruritus reduction, menstrual regulations and child Tuina.
