Pressure points that correspond to the whole body are gently stimulated to relax and release tension, toxins, congestion, stress, and pain to restore physical and emotional balance through facial, foot, hand, ear, ocular and hormonal reflexology. Ortho-bionomy uses gentle touch movements, light compression or traction, along with cranial stimulation to increase circulation, parasympathetic nerve relaxation and overall improvement of bodily function. By engaging the self-correcting reflexes, OB facilitates the releases of pain, tension and trauma patterns. Later in the session, the client immerses their feet in a warm detox, ionic foot bath. This stimulating 30 min water electrolysis bath flushes bodily toxins out through the pores of the feet. The client receives facial and hand reflexology during this time. The ear candling during the last 20 min of the session removes excess wax and toxins from inside ears and Eustachian tubes. While the candle burns, the therapist gently massages pressure points around the ear, neck and scalp.
