Dr. Gross [Coroianu] was born and raised in coastal West Marin in a medical household and developed a love for health, science and animals at a young age. After establishing Sterling Fox Equine Training in Petaluma and New York, a life-long dream came true when she attended Veterinary School. She changed directions before completion wanting to help not just animals, but humans patients also, through chiropractic care. Hilary practices modern diversified chiropractic mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities, utilizing some technique from Gonstead, Flexion-Distraction, Thompson Drop Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Instrument Assisted Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA I). She utilizes stretch therapy and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique (PNF) with soft tissue release techniques comparable to ART to quickly resolve associated muscular and fascia (myofascial) disorders. She uses a number of science-backed methods to address your (and your pet’s) health concerns and she continues to attend seminars and stay current with the most up-to-date information available. She manufactures botanical products to compliment treatments with icy/hot muscle rubs, lavender stress balm, dandelion magnesium lotion, etc. If you are new to chiropractic or feel anxious, she is patient with a gentle touch and precise adjustments. To stay active: Hilary enjoys high altitude alpine hiking, black diamond downhill skiing, and competitive horse back riding in jumping/ German dressage. Being a serious and competitive athlete for years has helped her develop her clinical skills for the benefit of humans and creatures alike. All new patients participate in an initial visit exam. During this visit, we will perform a complete complaint-related physical exam, evaluate any necessary imaging, review your previous medical, family, and occupational histories, Neurological scan if applicable, and discuss your personal treatment and care plan. *If imaging/ blood work is needed an additional cost may apply; please see below for more information.
