Abby Andersen
Victoria Enhanced Sport and Spine
4489 Viewmont Avenue, #200, Victoria, BC, V8Z 5K8
Abby is a recent graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Camosun College, where her studies included in-depth training in anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment. Throughout her education, she developed a special interest in understanding the human body from the inside out—an approach that continues to shape her work as a therapist. She approaches massage therapy with a whole-person perspective, working with the nervous system and drawing on the biopsychosocial model of healthcare and evidence-based practice. Her treatments are patient-centered and aim to support relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness, while also addressing lifestyle factors that contribute to long-term health. Originally from Smithers, BC, Abby was active in equestrian sports—including eventing, dressage, and hunter/jumper disciplines—as well as track & field, volleyball, and basketball. Her own experience recovering from a torn ACL sparked her interest in healthcare and ultimately led her to pursue massage therapy, where she found a passion for helping others create meaningful and lasting change in their well-being. When she’s not in the clinic, Abby enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, working with horses, knitting, painting, sculpting, and discovering new local cafés. Abby is excited to continue growing as a massage therapist and looks forward to supporting clients on their unique health journeys.
If this is your first visit to Victoria Enhanced Sport & Spine or your first visit seeing a Registered Massage Therapist at this clinic, please select this option. The first session requires more time as it may require a health history intake, physical assessment, reassessment and homecare and we want you to receive an appropriate amount of treatment time in addition to the other areas that this appointment may require.
