A warm hello, I am Michaela Toffoli, a Registered Physiotherapist who is passionate about empowering clients at all ages, stages, and seasons of life on their wellbeing journeys. I graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2017 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. As a physiotherapist my goal is to assist you in fully understanding your injury or condition, to provide supportive therapies that enhance your recovery, and to empower you to take your health to its fullest. I take an individualized whole person approach to assessment and treatment. Some cornerstones of a session with me are communication, education, collaborative goal setting and treatment planning along with a balance of hands on and movement therapy. The use of modalities such as individualized exercise therapy, IMS, laser therapy, real time ultrasound and manual therapies are incorporated as appropriate to your individual needs. As a compassionate physiotherapist and mother who has been through her own pelvic health journeys I have special interest in working with healthy aging and in women’s/ pelvic floor health. Be it pregnancy, post partum, incontinence concerns, core stability, pelvic health for athletes, diastasis recti, pelvic pain, dyspareunia or a general integration of pelvic wellbeing into your life I am here to support you. Outside of work I enjoy family time, training and caring for my horse Eclipse, reading books, spin sessions, and being outdoors.
