Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used by physical therapists to treat musculoskeletal pain by inserting thin, sterile needles into myofascial trigger points. It aims to reduce muscle tension, improve range of motion, and increase blood flow. It is commonly used for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and sports injuries.
