Lianne is a registered Kinesiologist and strength coach based in Squamish. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University, including an exchange semester at University of Otago (NZ), and holds her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation through the NSCA. Originally from the Maritimes, Lianne grew up competing in Track & Field, Cross Country, and Rowing before transitioning into coaching and strength training. She has been coaching since 2011 and has worked with clients ranging from ages 3–80, from individuals new to the gym to national-level athletes. Her experience includes over a decade of 1:1 training, working in Latvia with the Canadian Armed Forces, coaching Track & Field, and supporting guides and mountain athletes pursuing demanding outdoor objectives. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based strength and conditioning principles combined with movement education, with an emphasis on helping clients build autonomy, adaptability, and performance both in the gym and in sport. Outside of work, Lianne can usually be found catching a sunrise in the alpine, splitboarding, or diving into snow science and avalanche education.
60 min One-on-one initial kinesiology assessment. Review medical history, goals, strengths and weaknesses via active and passive movement. Create a treatment plan based on the assessment.
