Fanie is a bilingual physiotherapist who completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics in 2023 and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa 2025. Her passion for rehabilitation comes from her athletic background and her desire to help people regain their abilities and independence. Originally from Prescott-Russell, she is proud to offer bilingual services to her community and to support her patients in achieving their goals, whether that means regaining mobility, returning to sports, or simply improving their daily well-being. A lifelong athlete and former competitive ringette player, Fanie understands the demands of an active lifestyle and the injuries that can come with it. She believes in a holistic and individualized approach to physiotherapy, focusing on addressing the root causes of pain and movement challenges. Her practice is centered on listening and collaboration, creating personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate education, shared decision-making, targeted exercises, practical strategies, and manual therapy. Always curious and motivated, she strives to keep learning, stay up to date, and aim for excellence in her practice. In her free time, Fanie enjoys participating in various sports and spending time outdoors. She also loves playing cards with family and friends, reading novels, and spending time with her Husky.
