Dr. Shivana Krishnan comes to Hyperion Chiropractic with 15 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy. She has a Bachelor’s in Biomechanics from the University of Cincinnati and holds a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University, a top 10 program in the country. As someone who is incredibly passionate about taking care of her community, Dr. Krishnan has discovered a lack of integration in the standard approach to getting people better via physical therapy: this one dimensional approach to care simply wasn’t enough. This led her to multiple certifications, courses, and training in functional medicine, eastern modalities, neurophysiology, psychology and spirituality in order to develop as a truly integrative Doctor. She now confidently brings a holistic and innovative approach to addressing your physical symptoms. She was born in India, raised in the midwest and for the past 4 years has been building a life and practice in east LA. She remains shaped and inspired by the values of her Indian-Hindu heritage that contains so much intuitive wisdom within it.
