Keane graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002 at McGill University. As a therapist for the McGill Cross Country/Track & Field team, he gained extensive experience in the management and rehabilitation of acute and chronic running injuries. Currently, he is a member of the Sport Physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. As an experienced hands-on therapist, Keane has received additional training in treatment of the lumbar spine, the pelvis, the shoulder, the ankle, and the hand; furthermore, he has attended specialized courses on myofascial release techniques. Keane is also certified in Acupuncture. He has worked extensively with ICBC and WCB clients in active conditioning and return to work programs. Keane is also a clinical supervisor for the SFU Kinesiology Co-op program and enjoys mentoring students and promoting the profession of physiotherapy. Keane stays fit by running, biking, hiking, skiing and gardening.
