Hi! My name is Sara and my healing journey started in 2013 when a catastrophic life event set my life in a healthier direction. Using this life event as a catalyst for change I sought out physical and emotional healing. Additionally I completed meditation training through the University of Pennsylvanias Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program. In 2020 I became a Reiki Master after 4 years of training at the Philadelphia School of Reiki. Additionally I have completed Reiki I & II from the International Center for Reiki Training. In 2020 I graduated with a 4.0 from the Lourdes Institute for Wholistic Studies (LIWS) , the areas only hospital based massage therapy program. I was accepted into the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphias massage therapy internship program in 2021. In 2023 I will be a certified pediatric massage therapist (CPMT), as well as an Autism touch therapist. In 2020 I was one of eight national Massage Envy Successful Hands Grant award winners. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh in journalism and worked for years as a photojournalist. Why did I name my practice Sugar Space Wellness? I am a mom of two boys who love baking and space. My oldest son is in a professional baking program and makes the best cookies. My other son wants to fly to Mars.
