Wayne graduated from the University of British Columbia with his bachelors of Kinesiology in 2017 and completed his Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) training at Langara College in 2021. Wayne’s studies during undergrad focused on biomechanics and injury prevention, which lead to an interest in manual therapy to provide a holistic treatment approach. At Langara, Wayne had the opportunity to work with recreational and professional athletes, and patients with spinal cord injuries at ICORD. Wayne was a competitive long-distance swimmer and played American football; he currently enjoys weight training and has a keen interest in strength sports.
Initial treatment is only for clients who have not been to Sense Massage Therapy before. During the initial treatment, therapist will spend more time focusing on history and examination to get a complete understanding of your condition. Hands-on time will be shortened due to history taking.
