Hi and welcome. My name is Laura. I go by Lore, like folklore. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Connecticut and I have extensive training in working with the nervous system to support relaxation, healing, pain relief and trauma recovery. I specialize in neuromuscular therapy and offer deep tissue, craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, reflexology, sports, prenatal and relaxation massage. My goals are to provide a safe and healing environment and to customize sessions to best fit where you are on your journey and where you want to be.
Massage
Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the specific needs of those expecting. Using pillows, cushions, and side-lying postures, we will help make sure you and your little one(s) are comfortable during our session.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph fluid through the lymphatic system. This is a slow and light touch treatment that helps support the body and can be beneficial for chronic inflammation, bloating, pre and post surgery or illness, adjusting to a new diet/medication/or exercise program and promoting decreased fluid retention.
