Dr. David Lantos received his undergraduate degree from Long Beach State University, earning a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness. He graduated in the top percentile of his class from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, specializing in Sports Medicine. During his clinical rotations, he was awarded the Dr. Lester McCoy Clinical Excellence Award for demonstrating excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and patient management. He also served as an attending board member of the Sports Injury Council and Rehab to Performance organizations at SCUHS. Dr. Lantos’ passion for the human body and biomechanics began as a young multi-sport athlete in Hungary. With the guidance of his physiotherapist mother, he learned that the site of his pain or injury wasn’t always the original source. Like a well-maintained machine, every part of the body must work together to achieve optimal performance. Dr. Lantos takes a comprehensive approach to understanding the human body and its mechanics, focusing on posture, joint-by-joint movement, and muscle engagement. He is trained in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Dr. Tim Brown’s SPRT Therapy, Active Release Technique (ART), and has completed over 300 hours of continuing education. His treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s goals, and he believes that understanding one’s pain is key to overcoming it.
